"We have observed an object only 12 miles across, on the other side of our galaxy, releasing more energy in a 10th of a second than the Sun emits in 100,000 years."

[WAR: This reminds me of the event recorded in Rev 12:1. The only part of the sign missing is the "crown of 12 stars" on Virgo's head.
It's my theory that the astronomical event to produce the crown has already happened, but the light just hasn't reached us yet. If the event happened when John saw his vision, it would make it around 1,900 light-years away.
And I also theorize that the crown will become visible in the east, after sundown, at the time of Passover. This will also be "the sign (same Greek word John uses in Rev 12:1) of the Son of Man" that tells the world He is on His way!]

[WAR: I wondered about this question years ago. And the answer is that the WCG needed to keep that wrong form of government in order to change most of what HWA taught -- throwing out the baby with the bath water. But at the same time, the PCG has the same form of government and using it to stop any challenges to anything HWA taught -- keeping the baby forever in the bathwater with all the dirt, pee, and soap-scum!]
