[WAR: Yes, this is a correct and logical conclusion of the assumption that we are all individually created by God. But the truth is that none of us are created - we were all born (which is why we must be born again) in accordance with the laws 'n flaws of nature. Only Adam & Eve were created - everyone else has been born!]
Today in Scripture
"This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: On the 10th day of the 7th month you must deny yourselves and not do any work ... because on this day atonement will be made for you, to cleanse you. Then, before YAHWEH, you will be clean from all your sins." (Lev 16:29,30)
[WAR: I just recently read an article (Jewish Calendar) that stated: "In addition, Yom Kippur should not fall adjacent to Shabbat, because this would cause difficulties in coordinating the fast with Shabbat..." Now this is one of the reasons (human reasoning) for using the postponement rules (traditions of men) - and it's because of food preparation! So because of food and the false assumption that the Sabbath starts at sundown (another tradition of men), Judaism has taken upon itself to move/alter God's set/fixed appointed times.
And most of the COG follows along like blind sheep, not realizing that they're being led astray - even making the days so much of a burden to God that His soul hates/despises them (Isa 1:14 and Amos 5:21). And even the birds know their appointed times of migration, but God's people don't even know their appointed times for worshipping (Jer 8:5-8 and Isa 24:5, where "they...changed the statute/ordinance")!]
