The Daily WAR (#0903)

"The WAR on error"

The celebration of the holy birth is here. Today's vigil prepares us to live intensely the mystery that tonight's liturgy will invite us to contemplate with the eyes of faith. In the divine infant, who we will place in the manger, our salvation is made manifest. In the God made man for us, we all feel loved, taken in, we discover that we are worthy and unique before the eyes of the Creator.
[WAR: Holy? Yes! Divine? NO! It's just like those who have received the spirit - they're holy, but not yet divine.]

Pope Benedict XVI celebrated Christmas Midnight Mass in the splendor of St. Peter's Basilica early today with an appeal for abused children around the world, including child soldiers, beggars and others deprived of sustenance and love.

God willed the incarnation of the Son not so much as to have someone outside the Trinity that would love him worthily as to have someone to love in a way worthy of him, that is, to love without measure! At Christmas, when the child Jesus is born, God the Father has someone to love in an infinite way because Jesus is together man and God.
[WAR: It really is amazing! John warns us about those who deny that Yahshua had ceased being Elohim and became a human being, yet they use John to justify their antimessiah doctrines.]

We take a look at the origin of certain Christmas symbols and explain how this season is celebrated in Russia.

Many Christians are indignantly insisting that people stop de-Christifying the celebration of Christmas in the name of political correctness. Are they even aware of this holiday’s decidedly non-Christian origins?

The Star of Bethlehem has left its mark on the gospels as well as a constellation of holiday songs. Was it purely a divine sign, created miraculously to mark Jesus’ birth? Or was it an astronomical event in its own right?

[WAR: This is a "pic" of Santa flying through the Orion nebula. How ironic! In reality there's some truth contained here. The idea of Santa flying around the world all-night with his 12 reindeer is nothing but the constellation Orion (the heavenly "sign" of Nimrod "the mighty hunter") at this time of year, rising in the east at sunset and making his journey across the sky all-night long until sunrise - with the 12 reindeer representing the 12 constellations of the zodiac.]

President Köhler has used his traditional Christmas address to again set out his case for enacting far-reaching reforms in Europe's biggest economy.

We reproduce extracts from the meeting with the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Russian Federation with journalists in Moscow on December 20th, reporting on the diplomatic year 2006.

Rumor of war is now reality...
Ethiopian fighter jets bombed Mogadishu International Airport in the middle of Somalia’s capital on Monday, witnesses said, in the first direct attack on the headquarters of an Islamic movement attempting to wrest power from the internationally recognized government. Ethiopia’s prime minister announced Sunday night that his country was “forced to enter a war” with Somalia’s Council of Islamic Courts after the group declared holy war on Ethiopia.

The stampede for African oil continues, even as militant attacks in some countries and precarious governments in others make returns uncertain. Though much of the continent is just as conflict-ridden as the Middle East, analysts say Africa is increasingly attractive because it's one of a diminishing number of regions still welcoming foreign corporations.

The Iranian government spokesman said today the UN Security Council adopted the Resolution 1737 against Iran's peaceful nuclear activities merely based on imagination. He stressed that a country should not be deprived from its rights based on imagination.

President Ahmadinejad said yesterday that the UN Security Council approved the anti-Iran resolution to save the face of the US and Britain.

Britain has imported America's "culture wars," in which Christmas becomes a pitched battle between Christians, secularists and minority faiths.

The FBI failed to fully investigate information suggesting other suspects may have helped Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols with the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, allowing questions to linger more than a decade after the deadly attack, a congressional inquiry concludes.

Meanwhile, members of the Aryan Republican Army bank robbery gang were using Elohim City as a safe house between crimes, staying at the home of a German national named Andreas Strassmeir who was a paramilitary trainer at the compound.

DynCorp International runs its operational hub from a dark glass building bearing another firm's logo. The office complex, on the outskirts of Irving, gives no indication of the huge footprint the military services company is leaving around the world. Using billions of taxpayer dollars, DynCorp is quietly doing the U.S. government's work in Iraq, Afghanistan and other world hot spots. Its paramilitary forces can kill or be killed in combat, but there's little public accounting of what DynCorp does or whether tax dollars are being well spent.
[WAR: I drove by their HQ this morning while making a delivery.]

Reports from the Far East Regions of Russia, following the volcanic explosion of Kamchatka’s Bezymyannuy volcano this past week, are stating that a ‘major anomaly’ has been detected in the Earth’s Magnetic Field leading scientists to believe that a ‘Catastrophic Earthquake’ is ‘imminent’.
