On a visit to the Papal Library and the Vatican's Secret Archives, Pope Benedict came to the defense of those whose work involves the case of Pope Pius XII. Accusations have been made by critics of the WW2 era pope, in particular by the Jewish Anti-Defamation League, that the archivists have withheld incriminating documents. The charges frequently leveled against Pope Pius XII include anti-Semitism and having aided Hitler. However, none of the charges has ever been substantiated.
The Central Council of Muslims in Germany harshly criticized the Christian churches after high-ranking German clergyman Cardinal Lehmann last week spoke out against Islam enjoying equal status to Christianity.
A movie about an assasination attempt against Adolf Hitler has been barred from filming at German military sites because of Tom Cruise's membership in the Church of Scientology.
The arrest warrants German authorities have issued against 10 CIA agents have strained German-American relations. Now, prosecutors in Munich want the agents extradited to Germany so they can stand trial for their alleged roles in the illegal kidnapping of terror suspects.
PCG "Prophet" Propaganda?...
Adolph Hitler's 'dream' of a unified Europe was realized during this years Summer Solstice timeline, with virtually no notice in the America's, and ushered in despite the objections of the European Unions 27 member Nations citizens.
It takes a victim of sovietism to recognize a likewise process in Europe. "Vladimir Bukovksy, the 63-year old former Soviet dissident, fears that the European Union is on its way to becoming another Soviet Union," writes Paul Belien for the Brussels Journal. "In a speech he delivered in Brussels last week Mr. Bukovsky called the EU a 'monster' that must be destroyed, the sooner the better, before it develops into a fullfledged totalitarian state."
Yes!...
The EU hammered out a compromise deal on a new treaty early Saturday morning in Brussels. As the dust settles, many German commentators wonder if the compromise deal has left Europe even less harmonious than before.

Yes!...
A United States of Europe would clearly subsume the fear of Eurabia. But USE is a bridge too far. The current attempts to relaunch the European enterprise after France and the Netherlands vetoed a European constitution reflect the lowest common denominator of integration. "Europe is not willing to pay the price for becoming a world player."
The EU has broken its constitutional deadlock, but the compromise struck in Brussels over the weekend falls short of what many had hoped for and laid bare deep divisions between some member states. Observers say Europe is still far from being united.
The incoming Portuguese presidency has set aside just 3 months for negotiation on a new EU treaty, believing the weekend's tempestuous summit resulted in sufficiently clear directions to wrap up a new text.
If there was one thing Eurosceptics liked about the EU's Constitutional Treaty it was the "exit clause," which provided an explicit process for the negotiated secession of a member state. But the logical counterpart to the exit clause - a kick-out clause - is still missing. This is both unsurprising and problematic.
The Danes and the Irish must put this latest deal to their voters in two new referendums in order to make it into law. Above all, the British have yet to work through their own internal battle over whether or not there should be a referendum. This latest EU psychodrama is far from over.
Two additional member states have left the door open to opt out of a charter boosting the civil and social rights of EU citizens, it has emerged from the small print contained in the recently agreed outline for a new EU treaty.
For some, the draft treaty is a betrayal, the surrender of British independence and a step towards a superstate. That seems over the top. My reading of the confusing 31 pages of conclusions points, rather, to a messy series of compromises. Mr Blair is correct that the transfer of powers is less than in previous treaties.
Sarkozy, schmarkozy...
The new French president proved to be the crucial figure during an EU meeting, helping to break down the resistance of Poland's identical-twin leaders to a deal.
Tony Blair's nomination for the post of international envoy in the Middle East is likely to be confirmed as early as today despite grumbles from Europe and last-minute wrangles over his job description.

Israel is preparing for an imminent war with Iran, Syria and/or their non-state clients. Israeli military intelligence has projected that a major attack could come from any of 5 adversaries in the Middle East. Officials said such a strike could spark a war as early as July.
An analysis of the Horn of Africa's political outlook in the short to medium term should include an assessment of geopolitical conditions in the Middle East. As part of Operation Enduring Freedom US naval vessels have engaged in several military strikes in Somalia. This shows that the Ethiopia-Somali axis is to some extent the "Southern front" of the larger Middle East theatre of war. US intervention in the Horn of Africa is brought about by the policy framework of the war on terror, as well as the need to safeguard shipping routes through the Suez Canal. This raises significant political questions that the AU has to confront, foremost among which is the impact foreign military aid (and political interference) has on the stability of African states.
Not buying it...
Iranian forces are being choppered over the Iraqi border to bomb Our Boys, intelligence chiefs say. Military experts claim this worrying move means we are at war with Iran in all but name. Last night an intelligence source told The Sun: "It is an extremely alarming development and raises the stakes considerably. In effect, it means we are in a full on war with Iran but nobody has officially declared it."
Why would the president, in the midst of substantial and growing cooperation with the Iranians, suddenly decree Iran in 2002 to be part of an axis of evil, and all but declare Iran an enemy on whom war must inevitably be waged? Numerous and disparate factions surrounding the president each desired, albeit for different reasons and with different motives, hostility and conflict with Iran. Those factions perceive that belligerence toward Iran, rather than a negotiated peace, would promote their respective agendas.

Architects and Engineers are trained to design buildings that function well and withstand potentially destructive forces. However, the 3 high-rise buildings at the World Trade Center which "collapsed" on 9/11 presented us with a body evidence (i.e.controlled demolition) that was clearly outside the scope of our training and experience.
Two of the world's largest oil companies have reportedly rejected a deal that would keep them working in Venezuela's most important oil field.
Paranoid Protestant Prophecy Propaganda...
In order to ever realize the creation of a one world government, it only makes sense that there would need to be a one world religion. It will be much easier to control us if we are all the same, therefore there is a push for the globalization of religion.
[WAR: There is NOT going to be a "one world government" (NWO), nor a "one world religion." It's not only not prophesied, it's just not possible.]
Because technology has broken down traditional informational hierarchies, people no longer have to depend on the usual authorities to tell them the truth. The world before the Internet and other information technology was a simpler place, but it's hard to say it was a better one for truth-seekers.
WARrior Q&A
Q: I noticed the article about the latest news out of Europe. What is your opinion about this? Do you believe the EU will be the beast power in the future?
A: No, I don't believe that the EU is - or is going to be - the beast power. I haven't believed this for 10+ years. The beast is going to be the revival of the HOLY Roman Empire of the GERMAN Nation - which ceased to exist in 1806. So for this to happen, Germany has to be set free from the legal, political and financial bondage to Brussels.
The EU was originally inspired by France in order to CONTAIN Germany and keep it BOUND to Europe. Yes, Germany has, since unification, tried to mold the EU to fit it's agenda, but it just can't - and won't - happen. At some point - VERY soon - the EU and the euro will collapse, then Germany will be free to fulfill its prophetic destiny.
Follow-up:
Q: So, do you believe the revived holy roman empire will be composed of similar areas as the pre 1806 period? I did a few minutes of studying on this and looks like there were 10 "circles"(territories) of rulership. I happen to notice there are 10 postalcode areas in Germany now, (I don't know if it means anything). I always wondered where the 10 kings of Rev 17:12 would come from. I always thought the EU would be somehow reorganized with a "core" of 10 nations with Germany at the head.
A: Very good!! I wish other people would do such research (and as quick) to realize that there is an alternative(s) to what we've been taught/assumed! I knew about the 10 imperial circles, but didn't know about the 10 postalcode areas. So yes, the "10 kings" could easily be 10 leaders of the revived imperial circles, or even 10 minister-presidents of the 16 German states. Or what about the 10 "electors" of the HRE, or even 10 Catholic dioceses/sees?
The modern nation-states are just that - modern. So we can't be trapped in our thinking by a historically fleeting arrangement of borders drawn on modern maps. Remember how a picture is worth 1,000 words? Just look at some old maps of the HRE - seeing is believing. We've got to think-outside-the-COG-box!
