The Daily WAR (support)

Howdy from Texas ...

Since there's a temporary cease-fire in The Daily WAR, I thought I'd share some encouraging support I've recently received:

* "I hope you will continue with the daily WAR, I was happy to see your update the other day. I am struggling to find another blog with the same good quality links. Please continue the good work!
I found your site using Google Blog search when I was searching for items on Iran and the credit crunch. Your site came up all the time and gives a good overview. I also like your interest in the EU and Germany/France.
I must say that the regular news networks hardly pay any attention to geopolitics or the fundamental issues in Europe. I would like to be put on the mailing list. Thanks!" (ADR - Netherlands)

* "Love the newsletter. I have been reading for about 5 months now and am pretty impressed with you. Not that that should mean anything since you don't know me but I thought I would tell you anyway.
Love the articles provoking Persia. You have to get back on line as soon as possible to keep people informed about what is really going on. We (you) have to stop this war from happening. Bush has to go...I will vote for the devil as long as we don't get another Bush in the white house.
You should set up some kind of donation site or maybe sell T-shirts so that your readers can help support you. I know I would. Gook luck buddy and keep fighting the war for all of us Americans in the dark."

(Follow-up) ... "Thanks for the note. It's nice to see that you are a real person that actually responds to email. I discovered your blog while searching for a link between "the lobby" and the war in Iraq and the coming war in Iran. I sort of stumbled onto your site in the process.
I noticed on your profile that you are involved in Religion? It's nice to know that a scientist (me--Ph.D. medicinal chemist) can enjoy and agree with a religious person. There is a lot of common ground outside of faith that we can agree on.
I will make a donation to your paypal account. I am quite ignorant in that area though....how do I do that?
I now you are probably super busy, but answer me one question. What is the war in Iraq about? Oil? Religion? Protecting "allies"? Just for kicks?
As an eternal optimist I want/have to believe that there are also forces in this world that will stop the tragic war from happening. I just want the US to go back to the late 90's when things were good.

What happened to us? We suck now! The dollar is weak, we are stuck in Iraq, the economy is on the verge of recession, real estate prices are fizzing out, banks are almost failing and the lobby reigns.
This is a mess. Who is to blame? I don't know...that's why I read your blog." (CR - US?)

* "AOL strikes again. I've read elsewhere that AOL does this sort ofthing, acting as judge, jury and executioner. Nice crypto-fascisticbehaviour....
Is there more than one model of the Sprint Aircard? Right now Sprint is offering one for $50 minus 1 cent instead of $250 minus 1 cent. If this is the one then I'll donate the $50, provided I can get it toyou in the absence of your old email address."

(Follow-up) ... "OK, just sent you $75. Might as well provide a bit of leeway incase prices fluctuate. Now, use it well! Buy an aircard and try toignore the wine, women and song." (WS - Australia)

As is mentioned in the above message, since I lost my previous e-mail address I haven't had a way to receive anything via PayPal. The best way is to go to PayPal and use thedailywarrior@gmail.com as the receiving e-mail.

So thanks to those above for this current encouragement/support - as well as the ones who have been encouraging/supportive in the past.

Michael

PS: I've done a little tweaking (upgrading?) of the blog format. I hope it's for the better...
