The US Constitution is 221 years old... hard to see the Lisbon treaty being so successful
Many European politicians have seen the EU as a future United States of Europe, although many of them are reluctant to admit it. The extraordinary thing is that they have not studied the history of the American Constitution. Surely, Europe should be asking this question: why did the US Constitution succeed when the French Constitution has repeatedly failed?
Growing anger over soaring fuel prices has prompted a wave of strikes and demonstrations across Europe that is fast becoming a major political crisis for the European bourgeoisie. Iran's president said today Israel would soon disappear off the map and that the "satanic power" of the US faced destruction, in his latest verbal attack on the Islamic Republic's arch-foes.
"You should know that the criminal and terrorist Zionist regime which has 60 years of plundering, aggression and crimes in its file has reached the end of its work and will soon disappear off the geographical scene."
Turning to the US, he said the era of decline and destruction of its "satanic power" had begun and added: "The bell on the countdown of the destruction of the empire of power and wealth has begun to ring."
Iran's Foreign Minister called on the world's Muslims on Sunday to work to "erase" Israel. "As the Imam Khomeini said, if each Muslim throws a bucket of water on Israel, Israel will be erased. The CIA funds all terrorist groups against the Islamic Republic of Iran, an Iranian political analyst says. All terrorist groups acting against the Islamic Republic take orders from the CIA, he said.
IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei says Washington has hampered the agency's investigations by denying Iran access to vital intelligence. When to sell? [WAR: As some may remember, I've been keeping track/count of the days since last year's 17th day of the 2nd month (when the flood started) and the final count is 368 days.
And as I pointed out during the last Feast of Tabernacles, the 17th day of the 7th month was exactly 150 days from the 17th day of the 2nd month on the calendar I've been using since the mid '90s.
This provides emperical proof that Noah was not using -- nor was Moses referring to -- a solar calendar. They were using -- and we should be using as well -- a lunar-stellar (moon-stars) calendar, rather than a lunar-solar. This calendar is advocated throughout the Scriptures, but Babylonian/Jewish tradition and translators have blinded us to seeing the light(s) of truth.
After all, "The heavens ... display knowledge night after night" (Psa 19:2) and "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your ELOHIM, I also will ignore your children." (Hos 4:6)
So what knowledge are we missing? What part of the law are we ignoring?!
"Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons (mowed #4150), and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration. But my people do not know the requirements of YAHWEH. 'How can you say, 'We are wise, for we have the law of YAHWEH,' when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?" (Jer 8:7,8)

YAHWEH's people not keeping the Sabbath DAY and the annual appointed times at the correct time would help explain why we're told: "New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations -- I cannot bear your evil assemblies. Your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts my soul hates. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them." (Isa 1:13,14) and "I hate, I despise your religious feasts; I cannot stand your assemblies." (Amos 5:21)
So His people are guilty of observing the "Jewish Sabbath" and "Jewish holy days," rather than observing "YAHWEH's Sabbath day" and "YAHWEH's appointed times."]
