The Daily WAR (06-29)

Reading between the lines;
Thinking outside the box...

[WAR note: Well, it looks like my summer sabbatical is continuing into the fall. In a nutshell:
1) I kept busy taking care of the 40-acre property where I live.
2) I may have finally found love ;-)
3) My mother and grandfather were injured (2 separate falls) during vacation in Santa Fe, so I'm back in Plano taking care of them. And I'm not exactly sure how long I'll be here.]

The Vatican has made it easier for Anglicans to join the Catholic Church, responding to the disillusionment of some Anglicans over the election of openly gay bishops and the blessing of same-sex unions.
Pope Benedict XVI approved a new church provision that will allow Anglicans to convert while maintaining many of their distinctive spiritual and liturgical traditions, Cardinal William Levada, the Vatican's chief doctrinal official, told a news conference today.

A storm storm is about to be unleashed on the Pope, the Vatican, and, by extension, the Catholic Church.
On a fundamental level, it is not simply a political or economic battle, as important as political and economic factors are, but a spiritual battle.
These attacks on the Pope and the Vatican may drive Rome to ally herself, after a thousand years of separation, with Contantinople, and with Moscow -- reuniting the "three Romes."

The Church has a message of hope that it wants to proclaim to all of humanity, says Benedict XVI.
"The Church exists to proclaim this message of hope to all of humanity, which in our time has 'experienced marvelous achievements but which seems to have lost its sense of ultimate realities and of existence itself.'"

Benedict XVI is underlining the Christian values at the heart of Europe, and is encouraging its people to live these lest their civilization be eroded by individualism and utilitarianism.
"It is important that Europe not allow its model of civilization to be eroded, bit by bit. Its original impulse must not be suffocated by individualism and utilitarianism."

So much for idea that Angela Merkel is going to pull a fast one on the Liberals. As she did last time, she once again seems very open to the concerns of her future coalition partner, especially in respect of its central demand for tax cuts.

France is preparing special ceremonies on Nov. 11, marking the end of WW1, and on Nov. 9, the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Beyond commemorating the end of centuries of wars and hatreds across the Rhine, the events will project a French notion of joint leadership.
At the same time, the idea's presumptions and acceptance require both a suspension of judgment and a leap of faith by the rest of Europe, not to mention many of the French and Germans themselves.

Financially crippled due to our continued wars for empire and the printing of billions of new dollars to repay political cronies in the financial world has left us in a precarious position in Afghanistan.
We will try to counter the financial prowess of China, to whom we owe billions and their military ties to Russia with the blood and lives of tens of thousands of new US military forces.
When China calls in our financial markers, and they will if challenged, what will become of our country?
We are about to escalate a war we cannot win. How long will it be before Americans care more for the lives of their children than they do for the state and refuse to participate in the madness?

The Pakistani Taliban, apparently aided by al-Qaida elements, may have decided to launch an all-out effort to take over the state of Pakistan and use it as a base to begin an offensive against Indian-administered Kashmir, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
According to security experts, Pakistan appears to be unraveling, giving impetus to the apparent decision by the militants to undertake the effort to assume command in Pakistan and use it as a base to launch attacks against India and take over Kashmir.

India has been vied for as an ally in the "Great Game" that is underway, once again.
This round of the "Great Game" is, however, being played under a far broader spectrum than the one played between Britain and Czarist Russia.
In question is the Indian power relationship with 2 geo-political entities: the first is the "Periphery" and the second is "Eurasia."
The threat of a nuclear war between China and India is real in the words of the Indian military, but what is important to realize is that such a confrontation is part of a much larger series of wars or a wider struggle between the powers of Eurasia and the nations of the Periphery, led by the United States.

The United States isn't the only nation with military designs on Pakistan's western-most province of Balochistan.
Following Sunday's massive suicide bombing in Iran's border province of Sistan-Balochistan, Iran's parliament is reportedly expressing consensus that retaliation against Jundallah could lead to launch military operations on the Pakistani side of the border.

The US government effectively attacked Iran Sunday after its proxy terror group Jundullah launched a suicide bomb attack against the Iranian Revolutionary Guard at their headquarters in Pishin, near the border with Pakistan.
Leaders of the Al-Qaeda affiliated Sunni terrorist group Jundullah have claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing in Iran that killed over 40 people yesterday.
The group is funded and trained by the CIA and is being used to destabilize the government of Iran, according to reports out of the London Telegraph and ABC News.

The chief of Iran's Revolutionary Guard on Monday accused the United States, Britain and Pakistan of having links with the Sunni militants responsible for a homicide bombing that killed 5 senior Guard commanders and 37 others.
"Behind this scene are the American and British intelligence apparatus and there will have to be retaliatory measures to punish them," Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said, vowing a "crushing" response.

The United States would find it difficult not to join an Israeli air strike in the event that Jerusalem decides to strike Iran's nuclear facilities, a former top-ranking US Air Force officer told participants at a conference this weekend organized by a Washington think tank.

The FBI in the past refused to release the security camera recordings, leading Trentadue and others to contend the government was hiding the evidence that would prove that others were involved in the attack.
Trentadue said he is seeking more tapes along with a variety of bombing-related documents from the FBI and the CIA. His FOIA request for 26 CIA documents was rejected in June.
A letter from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, which reviewed the documents, said their release "could cause grave damage to our national security."

A top American scientist who once worked for the Pentagon and NAS was arrested on Monday night, accused of trying to spy for Israel,.

Oath Keepers bills itself as a nonpartisan group of current and retired law enforcement and military personnel who vow to fulfill their oaths to the Constitution.
More specifically, the group's members, which number in the thousands, pledge to disobey orders they deem unlawful, including directives to disarm the American people and to blockade American cities.

Our political and media elite seem to have lost touch with the nation and to be wedded to a vision of America divorced from reality.

Our system of government gives the power to the County Sheriff to either ignore or enforce Federal law.
The President of the United States cannot tell the County Sheriff what to do in his own county. Neither can Congress. Neither can the Supreme Court.
The County Sheriff is not the Gestapo of the federal government. Quite the opposite. The County Sheriff is elected by the people - not employed by any branch of the government.
He takes an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. Therefore his loyalty is towards protecting freedom.
Ultimately, the County Sheriff is the check to balance any overreaching authority of the federal government. He decides which laws are Constitutional and will be enforced and which laws violate his citizens' rights and will be ignored.

The Q-Files headquarters received a phone call from a top executive within one of the largest Banking Corporations in the US.
This source was highly concerned about specific information their Bank Corporation had received regarding probable attacks upon US cities by terrorists of jihaddist orientation using nuclear devices which may already be in place or that may be delivered by kamikaze style attacks via small aircraft upon centralized target locations of those cities.
Independent from the Banking source, Q-files headquarters received a similar warning about potential nuclear device attacks upon US cities via telephone approximately an hour after the Banking source had called.
This warning was unsolicited as well and the deep background Intelligence community source giving it has been known to the Q-Files for over a decade.
Their warning stated that from 10/23 onward through 10/25 that a highly probable attack upon some US cities would be launched using nuclear devices and that Counter Terrorism operators were working to prevent this from happening.

Data released last week shows that the Obama administration's stimulus program has created a pitiful number of jobs, under conditions where 15 million people are out of work and joblessness is at the highest level in a generation.

A truly major change in the global monetary system is beginning to materialize. The dollar is starting to be dethroned. Foreign governments and central banks are going to do the dethroning.

The 16 countries that use the euro are "worried" by the weakness of the dollar on currency markets, the head of the eurogroup said on Monday.

The explosion of debate on the demise of the dollar has been instructive, though vastly premature. What is striking, however, is the absence of the euro from talk of alternatives as the global currency.

Venezuela's president has said that countries including Venezuela, Russia and Iran have proposed the US dollar should be replaced as the currency used for oil trade.

Russia is ready to consider using the Russian and Chinese national currencies instead of the dollar in bilateral oil and gas dealings, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said.

We did not need to wait until the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit 10,000. It has been clear for some time that global equity markets are bubbling again.
On the surface, this looks like 2003 and 2004 when the previous housing, credit, commodity and equity bubbles started to inflate, helped by low nominal interest rates and a lack of inflation.
There is one big difference, though. This bubble will burst sooner. There is danger no matter how the central banks react.
Successful monetary policy could be like walking along a perilous ridge, on either side of which lies a precipice of instability.

Exactly 125 years after the Greenwich Meridian line was drawn, how and why did Britain become the centre of time?

"On the 1st day of the 7th month you are to have a day of rest..." (Lev 23:24 / Num 29:1)
"On the 1st day of the 7th month they began to offer burnt offerings to YAHWEH, though the foundation of YAHWEH's temple had not yet been laid." (Ezra 3:6)
"On the 1st day of the 7th month Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly ... he read it aloud from daybreak till noon..." (Neh 8:2)
