Last night's sky

    [WAR: Wow, what a sight last night on "new year's eve": the beautiful New Moon lit by sunshine and earthshine (giving it a 3-D effect) just above the Pleiades, in the constellation of Taurus (Joseph's ensign/'owth).

    Now, to see how much the Moon moved last night in relation to the Pleiades, see these 3 pics from Israel, England, and US.

    So all it takes to determine the correct time, and have a correct calendar, is to just look up and observe the lights of the Moon (sunshine/earthshine) and the stars (Gen 1:14) -- not look down for shadows on the soil or grains in the ground!]
